What you can do
- Your own subdomain yourclan.clancore.de with free SSL.
- PHP, version selectable, default is PHP 8.3.
- Your own MySQL database.
- 2 GB of storage.
- SFTP access to upload your files.
- One-click installation of WordPress, more systems are on the way.
- Connect your own domain from the clan portal, in addition to the subdomain.
Limits
- No outgoing mail: disabled on purpose, this protects everyone from spam and blacklisting. Use Discord for notifications instead.
- No SSH or shell access, files go up exclusively through SFTP.
- PHP hosting only: no Node.js, Python or Docker.
- Limits: 2 GB storage, 1 database, fair use traffic.
- No commercial use: ClanCore is meant strictly for non commercial clans, communities and hobby projects. Shops, advertising, paid services and affiliate offers are not allowed.
Security
How your webspace is protected.
Only real safeguards that are actually in place, nothing dressed up.
Isolated PHP pools
Every clan runs in its own PHP pool, with no access to other webspaces.
Firewall
The server is protected by a UFW firewall, only the necessary ports are open.
Brute force protection
fail2ban blocks automated login attempts against SFTP and management access.
SFTP without shell
File access happens exclusively through SFTP, there is no shell access.
Database, local only
The database is only reachable from your own webspace, never from the internet.
No outgoing mail
Mail sending is disabled, which prevents spam abuse through your webspace.
Daily backups
The server is backed up every day.

Our servers are located in Germany, which supports GDPR compliant processing.
Malware scanning
An automatic scan of uploaded files is in preparation.
